Abstract: Objective: To explore the adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) orthopedic surgery of the spine and pelvis, sagittal curves of the correlation. Methods: May 2008 ~ April 2009 one stage orthopedic spine fusion surgery in patients with AIS in 70 cases, aged 10 to 18 years, mean 14.0 years old. Both before and after surgery in both upper limbs Baoxiong position taken under the full-length standing lateral spine X-ray, measurement of preoperative and postoperative thoracic kyphosis (TK), lumbar lordosis (LL), sacral inclination angle ( SS), pelvic tilt (PT) and pelvic angle of projection (PI). The preoperative and postoperative values of t test to compare PI, respectively, before and after of the relevant parameters of Pearson correlation analysis. Conclusion: The pelvic angle of projection can be a true reflection of the pelvic anatomy, spinal sagittal parameters do not change with the change; lumbar lordosis and pelvic close relationship between the projection angle in orthopedic surgery to maintain the planned surgical treatment of AIS when the need to consider two between the interaction.
