"Chinese Journal of Gerontology" 2010 19 Collection for the latest FISH to detect chromosomal p16 locus abnormalities and bladder cancer occurrence and development of Hong Ma Shuang Yao Cheng Ma Kewei Jiang Zhenyu Abstract: Objective To compare the Western populations, and explore in the Chinese population of chromosome anomalies and bladder cancer occurrence and development of relations. Methods for the experimental group primary bladder transitional cell carcinoma and clinical recurrence of cancer and urinary tract cancer was highly suspected in 32 patients; the control group was normal in 20 cases. Application of FISH and cytology experimental detection, control group was established threshold FISH. The results of FISH detection sensitivity of 96.8%, specificity 50%. Cytology 19.4% sensitivity and specificity of 100%. Experimental group, 3,7,9 p21 and the incidence of polyploid chromosome 17 were 74.2% and 58.1%, 61.3%, 77.4%; single occurrence rates were 83.9%, 83.9%, 96.8%, 67.7%; homozygous deletion rate was 25.8%, 32.3%, 22.6%, 16.1%. 9p21 deletions in the experimental group in the onset and recurrence of the tumor were significantly different between cases (P = 0.041); 9p21 and polyploid chromosome 7 in the T1 and T2 ~ 4 of the period between a significant difference (P values were 0.026 and 0.038); 7 chromosome aneuploidy and polyploidy of chromosome 7,17 in G1 and G2-3 levels were significantly different between grade (P values were 0.038,0.025 and 0.047), 9p21 in polyploid in the G1 and G2-3 levels were significantly different between grade (P = 0.0099). Conclusion is confirmed by the Chinese population in exfoliated urothelial cells of bladder cancer there is a higher 3,7,9 p21 and mutation rate on chromosome 17, and FISH detection sensitivity was significantly higher than that of cytology.
