ortal hypertension pathogenesis Introduction: Background: Idiopathic portal hypertension (idiopathic portal hypertension, IPH) is a disease of unknown etiology, and its main clinical features are: significant splenomegaly associated with (or without) splenomegaly, anemia, gastrointestinal bleeding and portal hypertension. At the same time and, except cirrhosis, extrahepatic portal vein and hepatic vein obstruction, congenital hepatic fibrosis. The majority of patients normal liver function, jaundice, ascites and hepatic encephalopathy rare. Liver function because of their better little effect by gastrointestinal bleeding, the prognosis is more favorable. In Japan known as IPH, in India, known as non-sclerosing portal fibrosis (non-cirrhotic portal fibrosis, NCPF), portal vein sclerosis in the United States known as the (hepatoportalsclerosis, HPS). Pathogenesis has been unclear, is now considered disease-related factors associated with: the system or intra-abdominal infections, exposure to toxic substances or drugs, immune genetic abnormalities, coagulation abnormalities, but the exact mechanism is not clear. Objective: Clinical features of IPH for analysis and laboratory test results, the clinical diagnostic criteria, etiology and pathogenesis of a preliminary study; by characteristic change
Background: Idiopathic portal hypertension (IPH) is a disease of unknown etiology. The main clinical manifestations of IPH are splenomegaly, anemia, well-tolerated reoccurring episodes of gastrointestinal bleeding and hepatic parenchymal functions are nearly normal, at the same time, excluding liver cirrhosis , obstruction of extrahepatic portal vein, Budd-Chiari syndrome and congenital liver fibrosis. It is called IPH in Japan, it's counterpart is called non-cirrhotic portal fibrosis (NCPF) in India and hepat .
